We are entering our 26th Season and we are seeking qualified hard-working candidates who can effectively and efficiently produce quality work. Candidates must have a vested interest and desire to work in the outdoors and its elements on multiple types of projects. No two Maintenance Clients are the same and no two Construction Projects are the same. We work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays. Saturdays are quite common in the Spring and Fall. We always start at the same time every day but our days end at all different times. These Positions are for 40+ hours.
This job can be strenuous and will be difficult at times. You must be willing to put in 100% every day and all day. This job offer has an opportunity for long term employment. JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE AND OR LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION:
· MUST HAVE a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience with landscape maintenance both Residential & Commercial.
· A Valid driving license and clean driving record is always encouraged.
· MUST HAVE Ability to drive company vehicles Safely, Courteously, Cautiously. Proficiency with a trailer to and from job locations is always needed.
· MUST be at least 18 years of age.
· MUST have Reliable transportation to and from our shop.
· MUST be a team player with a positive and professional attitude!
· MUST have a valid DOT Health Card if you are going to drive one of our vehicles.
· MUST be organized, neatly dressed daily and be efficient every day.
· MUST be punctual, arrive to work on time every day and be ready to work in various weather conditions (Hot, Cold, Rain, Etc.).
· MUST be physically able and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. multiple times per day.
· MUST be able to take direction and periodically constructive criticism.
· MUST be outgoing, positive attitude, friendly personality as you will need this with coworkers and especially our clients.
· If applying to be a Team leader: You must be open minded as we will be training you with our way of performing everyday tasks.
LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS & DUTIES:
· Ability to proficiently operate lawn mowing machinery. (Ride on Mowers, 21” Push Mowers, String Line Trimmer, Hedge Clippers Etc.).
· Ability to proficiently operate small lawn maintenance equipment. (String Line Trimmers, Backpack Blowers, Hedge Clippers Etc.).
· Ability to clean planting beds on a regular basis. (Raking, Cultivating, Weeding, Etc.).
· Ability to lift 50lbs or more. (Grass Barrels, Bags of Fertilizers, Etc.).
· Ability to listen, comprehend, be open minded to direction and training in order to learn our ways of providing exceptional services to our clients.
· Ability to drive company vehicles carefully and cautiously to and from jobs.
· Ability to drive a company vehicle Proficiently with a trailer.
· With our Maintenance and Construction Crews we ensure that all duties are shared by the entire crew. Our crew is expected to be run efficiently and effectively, that doesn’t happen without a team effort.
